OUR STANDARD

Nature Preserved

For us, “All-Natural” means preserving the characteristics every Doberman is born with: natural ears, a full tail, and dewclaws. We do not support routine cosmetic procedures such as ear cropping, tail docking, or dewclaw removal. Our philosophy is rooted in two simple beliefs. First, we believe preserving the dog in its natural form is the most humane approach whenever cosmetic procedures are not medically necessary. Second, we believe the All-Natural Doberman Pinscher represents the breed at its most beautiful. The expressive ears, full tail, and natural silhouette showcase the Doberman exactly as nature intended—powerful, elegant, athletic, and unmistakably refined.

The Doberman Pinscher

Developed in Germany during the late nineteenth century by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, the Doberman Pinscher quickly established itself as one of the world’s premier working breeds. Originally bred for intelligence, courage, athleticism, and loyalty, today’s Doberman continues to excel as a family companion, service dog, therapy dog, police dog, military dog, search and rescue dog, competitive obedience dog, and canine athlete. Few breeds possess such a unique balance of intelligence, physical ability, confidence, and devotion to their families.

At Moole Kennels, our vision is to preserve everything that makes the Doberman extraordinary while thoughtfully combining the strengths admired in both American and European bloodlines. We admire the substantial structure, strength, athletic presence, and confident character commonly associated with many European Dobermans. At the same time, we admire the refined elegance, expressive head, clean silhouette, and classic beauty that have become hallmarks of many American Dobermans. Our long-term goal is to responsibly develop All-Natural Doberman Pinschers that embody both philosophies while remaining true to the breed’s history and purpose. The Doberman we strive toward is powerful without unnecessary bulk; elegant without sacrificing substance; athletic without sacrificing beauty; confident without unnecessary aggression; protective of its family while emotionally stable; highly intelligent and eager to learn; friendly, affectionate, and deeply connected to its people.

Beauty

Beauty is one of the defining principles of our program. We believe the All-Natural Doberman Pinscher represents one of the most beautiful dogs in the world. Its natural ears communicate emotion and expression with remarkable clarity. Its full tail contributes to movement, athletic balance, and canine communication. Its refined frame combines elegance with unmistakable strength. Our goal is to preserve and celebrate those characteristics while producing All-Natural Doberman Pinschers that remain healthy, structurally sound, and true to the breed. Beauty should never come at the expense of health or temperament. The ideal Doberman should possess both.

Temperament

An exceptional Doberman is defined just as much by its temperament as its appearance. Our vision emphasizes dogs that are confident, loyal, exceptionally affectionate with their families, social and well-mannered, emotionally stable, courageous when necessary, calm inside the home, energetic and athletic outdoors, and intelligent decision-makers. Intelligence

The Doberman has long been recognized as one of the world’s most intelligent dog breeds. Our philosophy emphasizes preserving that intelligence through thoughtful breeding, early socialization, and structured training. Every Doberman associated with Moole Kennels is intended to be developed using the HVT Training System, the official training methodology of the Moole Canine Group.
